KRISHNA JAYANTHI SPECIAL RECIPES / JANMASHTAMI RECIPES / GOKULASHTAMI RECIPES

Happy Krishna Jayanthi :
Krishna Jayanthi is a festival liked by everyone, kids and adults alike.. It is celebrated every year during the month of Avani on Gokulashtami or Janmashtami, which marks the birth of Sri Krishna. 
There are a lot of sweets & snacks made for this function.   
We used to perform poojas during the sunset,  offering Lord Krishna with lots of prasadams and yummy foods. Butter, Aval and Seedai are a must for Neivadyam. 
And we used to draw Kutti Krishna footprint with rice flour & dress the little ones in the costumes of Radha and Krishna.
