Happy Navrathri / Navrathri Special Recipes:
Happy Navrathri :
Festive greetings to all of you
celebrating Navarathri Festival...:)
"Navarathri" is a nine night Festival dedicated
to the worship of Mother Goddess in all her manifestations, including Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati..!!
The word Navrathri literally means nine
nights in Sanskrit. " Nava" meaning nine and "ratri" meaning nights. It’s a festival full of worship and dance.
During
these days, nine forms of Shakti Devi are worshipped. The tenth day is
celebrated as Vijayadashami or Dussehra.
Navratri Special dishes are very delicious
and delectable. Sundals are very popular, various varieties of sundals are made
everyday for Neyveidhyam and distributed to friends, relatives and neighbours, who
are invited to see the Golu.
