Gokulashtami, Krishna Jayanthi is celebrated with the utmost devotion and love all over the world by Indians. In my home, celebrating Krishna’s birthday involved welcoming him into our house with beautiful kolams and little feet drawn in the floor as if to show little Krishna coming into our house, and performed pooja with flowers and neivedyams ( varieties of sweets & savories ) in the late evening.
