How to make Kuzhi Paniyaram / Hot & Sweet Version / South Indian Style Recipe / Taking a short break !

Kuzhi Paniyaram ( hot & sweet version )

Kuzhi Paniyaram is a popular South Indian dish, that makes a quick, healthy, light lunch or snack box. This is a favorite of both kids and adults equally.

This delicacies can be made sweet or spicy.   In the spicy version, sauted onions and green chillies are mixed up with the batter.

The batter prepared for Paniyaram is the same as that for Idly & Dosa. So it can be prepared easily from left-over idly or dosa batter too.

Go ahead and try this quick & easy Paniyaram recipe at your home & enjoy..:)

  22. They are lovely - I love the mix of flavours in the savoury version and I'm proud to say I've tasted some before!

They are also very similar to the Dutch poffertjes, and Danish Aebelskiver.

  29. Thanks friends for your sweet notes..:)
@ Usha : Thanks for your precious time n inspiring feedback. Kuzhi paniyaram, you can try in moulded idly plates too. But the authentic softness n taste relies completely on the paniyaram mould. You can get that mould in all Indian stores. Do giv a try n enjoy.
    happy cooking..:)
