Ingredients

Prawns - ½ kg

Oil - 4 tbsp

Onion - 2

Tomato - 2

Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp

Turmeric pwd - ½ tsp

Red chilly pwd - 1 ½ tbsp

Coriander pwd - 1 tbsp

Pepper pwd - 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Curry and coriander leaves

Instructions

1.

Wash prawns and marinate with salt , turmeric pwd and red chilly pwd..

2.

Set aside for 15 mins.

3.

Heat oil in a pan.

4.

Add chopped onion and sauté to transculent.

5.

Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell disappears.

6.

Add mashed tomato and cook until oil separates.

7.

Now add turmeric pwd, salt, red chilly pwd, pepper pwd, coriander pwd and stir well.

8.

Add little water and allow to boil for few minutes.

9.

Add the marinated prawns and stir in the masala.

10.

Add ½ cup water and place the lik and cook covered.

11.

Add fresh coriander leaves and stir well.

12.

Allow to cook in low flame for 5 mins.

13.

Open lid and check for prawns are completely cooked.

14.

Simmer the flame and fry well, till the masala thickens.

15.

Serve hot with white steamed rice or chapathi…:)
