French Fries:

French Fries is a delicious recipe, that everyone in the family will enjoy. Today, I tried this in my home and it came great, and I love to share this recipe with you all. Here you can find simple step by step procedure to create this delicious homemade French fries…


Ingredients:

·         Potato                          - 2
·         Oil                               - 200 ml
·         Pepper                         - 1 tsp
·         Red chilly pwd           - 1 tsp
·         Salt to taste


Preparation:

  1. Wash and peel off the skin of potatoes.
  2. Pressure cook potato by adding water for just 1 whistle.
         ( It should be cooked ¼ th only.)
  1. Allow to cool, slice the potatoes lengthwise.
  2. Heat oil in a fry pan.
  3. Transfer the potato pieces in hot oil.
  4. Deep fry in medium flame to golden brown.
  5. Take it aside, spread them in a tissue paper to remove excess oil.
  6. Sprinkle salt, pepper and red chilly powder to it.



  1. Crispy, Tasty French Fries ready to serve.

For those of you with a deep fat fryer, cook for eight minutes at 140 degrees C, 285 degrees F, then, without removing them from the oil turn the heat up to 170 degrees C, 340 degrees F until they are medium brown and crispy, no more than 5 minutes. The best potatoes to use are Maris Piper or King Edwards. These varieties give a crisper finish whilst still being fluffy inside.
