Ingredients


  • Paneer cubes - 1 cup
  • Maida | All purpose flour - 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Red chilli pwd -1/2 tsp
  • Pepper pwd - 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano | mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - a little 
  • Lemon juice - few drops
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Slice paneer to fine cubes.
  2. Add to bowl.
  3. Add maida flour, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, salt, raw sugar, pepper pwd, red chilli pwd, oregano, coriander leaves, lemon juice and mix.
  4. Add little water and mix to thick paste.
  5. Add the paneer slices and coat with the marinade.
  6. Let it marinate for 5 mins.
  7. Take the marinated paneer slices and coat with bread crumbs.
  8. Arrange all the coated paneer slices in plate as shown in video.
  9. Heat oil in fry pan.
  10. Deep fry the paneer cubes in medium flame until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
  11. Drain in kitchen tissue.
  12. Lipsmacking delicious paneer nuggets are ready.
  13. Enjoy hot with tomato ketchup or any dip of your choice.

Ingredients


  • Whole milk - 600 ml
  • Almonds - 20
  • Cashew nuts - 15
  • Pistachios - 10
  • Walnuts - 4
  • Kaskasa (poppy seeds) - 2 tsp
  • Cardamom pwd - 1/4 tsp
  • Cinnamon pwd - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper pwd - 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel (saunf pwd) - 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron strands - a few
  • Raw sugar - 50 g

Method

  1. Soak almonds in warm water for 10 mins.
  2. Remove the skin and set aside.
  3. Soak cashew nuts, pistachio nuts, walnuts and poppy seeds in 1/4 cup of milk for 5 mins.
  4. Add soaked almonds, cashew nuts, pistachio nuts, walnuts and poppy seeds along with soaked milk to blender.
  5. Add pepper pwd, fennel pwd, cardamom pwd and cinnamon pwd.
  6. Grind to smooth paste.
  7. Heat 600 ml of milk.
  8. Add few saffron strands and sugar.
  9. Stir good.
  10. Add the nuts paste and stir well.
  11. Turn off flame.
  12. Allow to cool.
  13. Transfer to serving cups.
  14. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve chilled.
  15. Lipsmacking delicious Shahi thandai is ready.
