Paneer Fried Rice Recipe

Quick and easy to make paneer fried rice recipe. Its mildly spiced and paneer cubes are sauted along with spices and mixed veggies. It can be prepared in a jiffy and kids love this delicious fried rice. This popular indo chinese street food makes an ideal choice for lunch box and quick dinner.

Ingredients

  • Basmati rice - 1 cup
  • Paneer cubes - 100 g
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Onion sliced - 1/2 cup
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Grated garlic - 1 tsp
  • Spring onions chopped - 1/2 cup
  • Capsicum sliced - 2 tbsp
  • Carrot, beans sliced - 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Heat a frypan.
  2. Add butter and melt.
  3. Add sliced paneer cubes and roast to golden.
  4. Set it aside.
  5. Add grated garlic and saute until light brown.
  6. Add sliced onion, spring onions, green chilli and saute.
  7. Add sliced veggies (carrot, beans and capsicum) and toss in high flame.
  8. Add salt, pepper pwd, soy sauce, vinegar, red chilli sauce, red chilli flakes and toss.
  9. Add sauted paneer cubes.
  10. Give a quick stir.
  11. Add cooked basmati rice and stir.
  12. Add finely chopped spring onions green.
  13. Toss in high flame.
  14. Turn off flame.
  15. Garnish with more spring onions.
  16. Lipsmacking flavorful delicious paneer fried rice is ready.
  17. Enjoy hot with tomato ketchup or any gravy of your choice.
