Looking for a quick healthy breakfast/ dinner recipe? Then here comes the protein packed nutritious methi paratha recipe with awesome flavor. It makes a healthy tasty alternative to regular roti recipes. Its prepared with fresh methi leaves, wheat flour and spices. Its very easy to prepare and makes a tummy filling snack. Ingredients

Methi leaves - a small bowl.

Grated ginger - 1 tsp

Sliced onion - 1/4 cup

Turmeric pwd - 1/4 tsp

Red chilli pwd - 1/2 tsp

Ajwain - 1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp

Coriander pwd - 1/2 tsp

Curd or yoghurt - 3 tbsp

Dried methi leaves - 1/2 tsp

Wheat flour - 2 cups

Oil - 1 tbsp

Butter - 2 tbsp

Salt to taste

Instructions

1.

Clean and wash methi leaves.

2.

Drain water completely. (no need to chop the methi leaves, if the leaves are small)

3.

Add methi leaves to mixing bowl.

4.

Add grated ginger, sliced onion, salt, turmeric pwd, red chilli pwd, ajwain, cumin seeds, coriander pwd, sugar, curd or yoghurt, dried methi leaves and combine well.

5.

Add 1/2 cup of water and mix.

6.

Add enough wheat flour and knead to smooth dough.

7.

Add 1 tbsp of oil and knead well as shown in video.

8.

Let the dough rest for 5 mins.

9.

Make equal sized balls out of dough.

10.

Take a ball, dust it with flour and roll to thin round disc.

11.

Heat a frypan.

12.

Melt a tsp of butter in it.

13.

Place the paratha and fry on both sides until golden brown.

14.

Remove from flame.

15.

Repeat the same for all the dough balls.

16.

Lipsmacking delicious methi paratha is ready.

17.

Enjoy hot with any curry or raitha.
