 Here comes the highly irresistible and spicy tawa fried fish recipe. It’s a very popular street food of Indian cuisine. It tastes absolutely delicious and can be served as a yummy starter or as a side with rice dishes. The recipe comprises only of a few spices. The fish is marinated with flavorful masalas and shallow fried or deep fried in tawa. It can be prepared very quickly. And trust me, the melt-in-your mouth taste of the fish is simply scrumptious. Similar Recipes:
·         Fish ( Ayla, Mackerel , Seer Fish, pomfret or any fish )  -  4
·         Turmeric pwd                 - ¼ tsp
·         Red chilly pwd                - 1 ½ tsp
·         Cumin pwd                      - ½ tsp
·         Coriander pwd                - 1 tsp
·         Lemon juice                    - 2 tsp
·         Thick tamarind paste -  1 tbsp
·         Pepper pwd                     - ½ tsp
·         Sooji                                 - ½ tsp
·         Saunf pwd                       - ½ tsp
·         Ginger garlic paste         - 2 tsp
·         Salt to taste
·         Oil to fry
Fish Fry
1.       Wash and clean the fish thoroughly.
2.      Drain out water completely.
3.      Set it aside.
4.      In a mixing bowl, add turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd, cumin pwd, coriander pwd, salt, lemon juice, tamarind paste, pepper pwd, sooji, saunf and ginger garlic paste.
5.      Sprinkle very little water and mix it to smooth paste.
6.      Apply this paste evenly on both the sides of the fish pieces.
7.      Cover and let it marinate for 1 to 2 hours.
8.      Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a non-stick frying pan.
9.      Add the marinated fish pieces.
10.   Shallow fry in medium flame.
11.    Once the fish turns crispy and golden brown, flip it to other side carefully.
12.   Drizzle oil to the sides.
13.    ( Also you can add 200 ml of oil in frying pan and deep fry the fish to crisp and golden)
14.   Drain on kitchen tissue to remove excess oil.
15.   Lipsmacking delicious tawa fish fry is ready.
16.   Drizzle some freshly squeezed lemon juice.
17.   Serve hot with sliced onion, tomato and cucumber slices.

Poricha Kuzhambu Recipe / Kathirikkai Mochai Poricha Kulambu / Easy Kuzhambu Recipes

Here comes the unique and traditional Tamilnadu style of Poricha Kuzhambu recipe. It’s a tamarind based curry with lots of flavor and aroma. This tastes absolutely mouthwatering when taken with hot steamed rice. We can prepare poricha kuzhambu with any veggies of your choice like brinjal, drumstick, potato,etc.  Try this tasty delicious South Indian Kuzhambu variety and enjoy.
Similar Recipes:
·         Mochai Payar / Lima beans - 1 cup
·         Onion                   -1
·         Tomato                - 2
·         Garlic                   - 3 pods
·         Brinjal                  - 5 to 6
·         Tamarind            - small ball
·         Oil                        - 2 tbsp
·         Grated coconut   - ½ cup
·         Vadagam            - 1 tsp
·         Or mustard         -  ¼ tsp, cumin -  ½ tsp, split urad dal -  ½ tsp
·         Curry leaves        - a few
·         Turmeric pwd     - a pinch
·         Red chilly pwd    - 2 tsp
·         Coriander pwd    - 2 tsp
·         Pepper pwd         -  ½ tsp
·         Fenugreek pwd   - ½ tsp
·         Salt to taste
·         Fresh coriander leaves
1.       Wash and soak mochai payar / Lima beans in water overnight.
2.      Morning drain the water and add it to pressure cooker.
3.      Add enough water and cook until it is soft. (approx 4 to 5 whistles)
4.      Keep it aside.
5.      To start with chop onion, tomatoes, garlic, veggies ( like brinjal, drumstick, broadbeans, etc) and coriander leaves.
6.      Soak a small ball of tamarind in ½ cup of water.
7.      Grate coconut to small pieces.
8.      Add it to blender and grind to smooth paste by adding required water.
9.      Heat oil in a pan.
10.   Add vadagam or mustard, cumin, split urad dal, curry leaves.
11.    Wait to splutter.
12.   Add sliced onions and garlic.
13.   Saute until onions turn light brown.
14.   Add mashed tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
15.   Add turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd, pepper pwd, coriander pwd and salt.
16.   Mix well.
17.   Add sliced brinjals and coat well with the masala.
18.   Add 1 cup of water and stir.
19.   Cook covered for 4 to 5 mins in medium flame.
20.  Once the masala thickens and veggies are done, add the thick tamarind juice.
21.   Stir well.
22.  Allow to boil for 2 mins.
23.  Add the cooked mochai payar and stir.
24.  Taste and adjust salt and seasonings.
25.  Add fenugreek pwd, red chilly flakes (optional) and coconut paste.
26.  Combine well.
27.  Keep the flame in low and let it cook for few more mins.
28.  Sprinkle freshly chopped coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
29.  Transfer to serving bowl.
30.  Aromatic delicious Poricha Kuzhambu is ready.

Spicy Chilly Chicken Gravy Recipe / Restaurant Style Chilly Chicken Recipe

Here goes the most easy & delicious chilly chicken gravy recipe. In this recipe, boneless chicken cubes are marinated, fried and seasoned in spicy tangy sauces to get the best Indo-Chinese taste. It combines excellent with fried rice, chapatti, poori, roti and noodles. Try this popular recipe and enjoy the garlicky chilly luscious gravy recipe.
To marinate:
·         Boneless chicken              - ½ kg
·         Maida / all purpose flour  -  3 tbsp
·         Corn starch                      - 2 tbsp
·         Soy sauce                       - 2 tsp
·         Ginger garlic paste         - 1 tbsp
·         Vinegar                            -1 tsp
·         Green chilly                     - 1
·         Salt to taste
To make Gravy:
·         Onion                               - 2
·         Green chilly                     - 2
·         Capsicum chopped         - ½ cup
·         Oil                                    - to deep fry
·         Grated garlic                   - 2 tsp
·         Ginger paste                    - 1 tsp
·         Soy sauce                        - 1 tbsp
·         Tomato ketchp                - 2 to 3 tbsp
·         Red chilly sauce              -1 tsp
·         Vinegar                            - ½ tsp
·         Sugar                               - ½ tsp
·         Spring onions chopped   -  ½ cup
·         Corn starch                     - 2 tsp
·         Salt to taste
To Marinate:
1.       Wash and chop boneless chicken to small pieces.
2.      In a mixing bowl, add all purpose flour, corn starch, soy sauce, salt, ginger garlic paste,vinegar and finely sliced green chilly.
3.      Add little water and make it a paste.
4.      Add the chicken and coat well with the paste.
5.      Allow to marinate for 30 mins.
To make Gravy:
6.      Meanwhile chop onion, green chilly, capsicum and set aside.
7.      Heat oil in a frypan.
8.      Once the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken pieces.
9.      Deep fry until both the sides are brown and crispy.
10.   Drain in kitchen tissue and set aside.
11.    Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan.
12.   Add grated garlic, green chilly and toss.
13.   Now add ginger paste and saute for a minute.
14.   Add cubed onions, capsicum and saute in high flame. Take care the veggies should retain their crunchiness.
15.   Add soya sauce and mix.
16.   Add red chilly sauce, tomato ketchup and salt.
17.   Add vinegar and sugar.
18.   Saute well.
19.   Now add the fried chicken pieces to this thick gravy and mix well.
20.  Sprinkle finely chopped green onions.
21.   If you want chilly chicken dry, then at this stage you can turn off the flame and transfer it to serving bowl.
22.  To make gravy, add 2 tbsp of corn starch to small bowl, add enough water and mix it to thin paste.
23.  Add this corn starch paste to the chilly chicken and keep the flame in low.
24.  Stir well for few minutes and turn off flame.
25.  Lipsmacking delicious restaurant style Chilly chicken gravy is ready.
26.  We enjoyed hot with spicy Schezwan fried rice.
