Here comes the quick delicious hearty one pot mutton biryani recipe that is easy to prepare in a short time. This is a fail proof recipe and tastes aunthetic and flavorful. The soft and melt-in-mouth mutton chunks in the biryani will amaze your family members. Do try this easy beezy pressure cooker biryani and let me know your feedback.
Similar Recipes
To Marinate:
·         Mutton                 - ½ kg
·         Turmeric pwd     - ¼ tsp
·         Red chilly pwd    - ½ tsp
·         Garam masala pwd  - ½ tsp
·         Yoghurt                - 2 to 3 tbsp
·         Salt to taste
To make Biryani
·         Basmati rice        - 2 cups
·         Oil                       - 2 tbsp
·         Cumin seeds       - ½ tsp
·         Saunf                   - ½ tsp
·         Bay leaf                - 1
·         Cinnamon           - 1
·         Cardamom          - 1
·         Onion                   - 2 big
·         Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
·         Green chilly         - 2
·         Chopped mint & coriander leaves - handful
·         Chopped tomato - 1 cup
·         Red chilly pwd    - ½ tsp
·         Biryani masala pwd   - ½ tsp
·         Salt to taste
Mutton Biryani
1.       Clean and wash the mutton pieces thoroughly.
2.      In a mixing bowl, prepare the marinade with turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd, garam masala pwd, salt and yoghurt.
3.      Add the mutton pieces, mix well and allow to marinate for 2 hours.
4.      Wash and soak basmati water in water for 10 mins.
5.      Drain the water and set the rice aside.
6.      Heat oil in a pressure pan.
7.      Add cumin seeds, saunf, bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom and allow to splutter.
8.      Add sliced onions and saute till light brown.
9.      Add ginger garlic paste and sliced green chilly.
10.   Saute for 2 mins.
11.    Add chopped mint and coriander leaves.
12.   Stir well.
13.   Add chopped tomatoes and cook till it mashed.
14.   Now add the marinated mutton pieces, ½ tsp red chilly pwd and mix well.
15.   Add 1 cup of  water and stir.
16.   Close the lid and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles.
17.   Once done, turn off the the flame.
18.   Wait until the pressure goes off.
19.   Mix all the ingredients.
20.  Now again turn on the flame.
21.   Add 1 cup of water enough to cook the basmati rice.
22.  Add the soaked & drained basmati rice.
23.  Add biryani masala pwd.
24.  Mix gently.
25.  Taste and adjust salt and seasonings.
26.  Close the lid and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
27.  Simmer the flame for 5 mins.
28.  That’s it ….flavorful and lipsmacking tasty mutton biryani is ready.

29.  Serve hot with onion raitha and spicy gravy.

In this recipe, the chicken is marinated with a special blend of seasonings and slow grilled in oven for smoky flavor and charred grill marks. Try it out and enjoy the meal.

·         Whole chicken cleaned  - 1
·         Yoghurt                            -  ½ cup
·         Cooking oil                      - 1 tbsp
·         Turmeric pwd                 - ¼ tsp
·         Red chilly pwd                - 1 ½ to 2 tsp
·         Cumin pwd                      - ½ tsp
·         Coriander pwd                - 1 tsp
·         Cinnamon pwd               - ½ tsp
·         Pepper pwd                     - ½ to ¾ tsp
·         Ginger garlic paste         - 1 tbsp
·         Tandoori masala pwd     - 1 tsp
·         Salt                                   -to taste
·         Sugar                               - ½ tsp
·         Oil                                    - to spray over chicken
·         Lemon juice                    - few drops
Chicken Grill
1.       Wash and clean the chicken thoroughly.
2.      In a mixing bowl, add yoghurt, veg oil, turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd (or paprika pwd), cumin pwd, coriander pwd, cinnamon pwd, pepper pwd, ginger garlic paste, tandoori masala pwd, salt and sugar(optional)
3.      Mix well to makea paste.
4.      Apply the masala paste all over the chicken,  so that the chicken is well coated.
5.      Let it marinate for 10 to 12 hours or preferably overnight.
6.      Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius.
7.      Place the marinated chicken in grill tray.
8.      Brush vegetable oil all over the chicken on both the sides.
9.      Place it in the oven and grill for about 20 minutes.
10.   Flip it over and brush oil over the chicken.
11.    Place it in the grill and grill for another 20 mins.
12.   Make sure the chicken is cooked tender & really juicy.
13.   Take care not to burn the chicken. Overcooking the chicken makes it hard.
14.   Yummilicious Grill Chicken is ready.
15.   Squeeze few drops of lemon juice.

·         Egg                       - 1
·         Bananas              - 2 ripe
·         Maida / APF flour  -  1 ½ cup
·         Sugar                   - 1½ tsp
·         Salt                       - as required
·         Baking pwd         - a pinch
·         Buttermilk or milk - 1 cup
·         Oil                          - 2 tsp
·         Vanilla essence   - ½ tsp
·         Honey                  - to drizzle on pancake



1.       Take a small mixing bowl.
2.      Beat egg until frothy.

3.      In a separate bowl, combine all purpose flour, sugar, salt, baking pwd.
4.      Mix well.

5.      Add buttermilk, vanilla essence and stir.

6.      Mix together the beaten egg.

7.      Mash banana ( leave some unmashed) and add it to the batter.

8.      Combine well
9.      The batter should be little lumpy as shown in the pic.
10.   Heat frying pan over medium heat.
11.    Drizzle oil /butter slightly.
12.   Pour or scoop batter onto hot pan.

13.   Cook until pancakes are light golden brown on both sides.

14.   Transfer to serving plate.


15.   Healthy & delicious banana pancakes are ready in no minute.


16.   Serve the pancakes while still hot with maple syrup or honey and banana slices.
