Spicy Chilly Chicken / Restaurant Style Chilly Chicken Recipe..!

Chilly Chicken & fried rice makes a simply scrumptious combo for any meal. This mouth-watering Indo Chinese recipe is very easy to prepare at home. It tastes spicy delicious and also pairs up best with naan, paratha, biryani, etc. Try’ll love it..!

To Fry Chicken:
·         Boneless chicken            - ½ kg
·         Soya sauce                      - 2 tsp
·         Maida                              - 1 tbsp
·         Corn flour                        - 2 tbsp
·         Salt                                   - to taste
·         Red chilly pwd                 - ½ tsp
·         Oil to deep fry
To make Sauce:
·         Tomato ketchup             - 2 tbsp
·         Soya sauce                      - 1 tbsp
·         Green chilly sauce          - ½ tbsp
·         Vinegar                           - 2 tsp
·         Red food color                - a pinch (optional)
To make Chilly Chicken Gravy
·         Onion sliced                 - 1 cup
·         Ginger garlic chopped -  2 tsp
·         Capsicum sliced          - ½ cup
·         Green chilly                     - 4
·         White pepper pwd          - ½ tsp
·         Sugar                               - ½ tsp
·         Chopped spring onions -  ¼ cup
·         Salt to taste
1.       Clean and wash the boneless chicken pieces
2.      Prepare a marinade with turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd, lemon juice and salt.
3.      Marinate the chicken overnight or for minimum 2 hours
4.      Mix all the ingredients for preparing sauce and keep ready
5.      Heat oil in a fry pan
6.      Add the marinated chicken and deep fry them in medium flame.
7.      Once it turns golden brown and crispy, drain it on kitchen tissue
8.      Take another wide non-stick pan.
9.      Add 2 tbsp of oil and heat.
10.   Add sliced onions, slit green chilly, diced capsicum cubes, chopped garlic, ginger, curry leaves
11.    Saute well on high flame.
12.   Now add the deep fried chicken pieces.
13.   Stir well.
14.   Add white pepper, sugar, salt and prepared sauce mixture.
15.   Mix well and allow to cook for a minute.
16.   Add ¼ cup of water to adjust the consistency of the gravy.
17.   Turn off flame
18.   Garnish with finely chopped spring onions.
19.   Serve hot with fried rice, chapati, roti, naan or paratha.
