Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is the most celebrated Hindu
festival in India. It is a lovely occasion for all sisters & brothers to
celebrate & share their unconditional love for each other.
This
ancient festival is celebrated on full moon day in the month of August every
year. On this special day, sisters pray for long life of their brothers and ask
God to bless them with his blessings. And they tie Rakhi on the brothers wrist.
In return, the brother offers gifts to his sister and makes a promise to
protect and take care of her as she feeds him delicious sweets.
