ReplyDeleteDear Jay
ReplyDeleteHow are you? Very nice recipe. I am just visiting blogs and eating virtually as much as possible. You have cooked an awesome dish, must try it.
During my stay in deserts had good interaction with chinese chefs. I can tell you, the Indo-chinese dishes are almost like chinese food except we use too much sauce of all kind. They use little of Soya or vinegar compared to what we use. The sweet and sour dishes are just like ours. The food diversity is also too much like India. Most of my chinese friends were surprised to learn that we eat Sechaun style food. They consider it to be too hot. Also I saw them using star anise, soya combo and a spice called Hwa jao, looks like black pepper but different fragrance. Extensive cinnamon is also used in some dishes. Lamb meat boiled with Cinnamon, soya and vinegar was awesome.
Let me see what all I have missed.
have a nice week
