Sweet Corn Pulav / Easy Pulao Recipes
Sweet corn pulav is a flavored rice made with corn, vegetables, basmati rice and various Indian spices. Today , I triled this tasty and healthy rice recipe for lunch and it came out so well..!
My kids love the color of the rice dish and the golden yellow sweet corns. This recipe is very simple and gets ready very quickly. Sure everyone at home love this complete one pot dish.
Also, this is very nutritious because of all the vegetables and sweet corn kernels in it. It tasted delicious with onion raitha and spicy gravy...!

Ingredients:
· Basmati rice - 2 cups
· Fresh corn or frozen whole corn - 1 cup
· Ghee - 2 tbsp
· Spring onion - 3
· Ginger - small piece
· Garlic - 4 cloves
· Green chilly - 2 to 3
· Onion - 2
· Capsicum - 1
· Carrot - 1
· Garam masala pwd - ½ tbsp
· Salt to taste
· Freshly chopped coriander leaves
Method:
1. Wash Basmati rice and soak in water for 5 minutes.
2. Cook the rice. Allow to cool and spread in a bowl. Take care each grain of the cooked rice should be separate and non sticky.
3. Cook the tender sweet corn kernels and keep aside.
4. Chop all the veg into thin slices.
5. Chop the leaves of spring onion.
6. Make a paste of ginger, garlic and green chilly.
7. Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan.
8. Add chopped onions and fry till golden.
9. Add the ground paste and sauté till raw smell disappears.
10. Now add all the chopped veg and cook for 3 to 4 mins.
11. Now add garam masala pwd, salt and combine.
12. Add the cooked sweet corn, rice and fluff gently.
14. Serve hot with papad and spicy gravy.
15. Yummy n tasty Sweet corn pulav ready to enjoy.
