Chilly Paneer dry is one of the simplest & easy to make paneer recipe...!
This spicy oriental dish is a very popular Starter in Indian restaurants. In this recipe, the paneer cubes are coated with thick batter and golden fried in oil. Then it is sauted in  spicy ingredients and sauces.
This yummy dish is  sure to lure our taste buds..!!!

  • Paneer                          - 200 g
  • Onion                           - 2
  • Capsicum                     - 1
  • Green chilly                   - 2 or 3
  • Garlic                            - 4
  • Corn flour                     - 1 ½ tbsp
  • Maida flour                   - 1 ½ tbsp
  • Soya sauce                   - 2 tsp
  • Tomato sauce               - 1 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce                   - 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice                  - ½ tbsp
  • Pepper                         - ½ tsp
  • Oil to fry
  • Salt to taste
  1. Chop the paneer into cubes.
  2. Dice onion, capsicum to cube shape.
  3. Slit green chillies lengthwise.
  4. Crush garlic to small pieces.
  5. Make a thick paste of corn flour, maida, salt and little water.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  7. Dip the paneer cubes in the above paste and fry till golden brown.
  8. Take it aside and drain the excess oil in kitchen paper.
  9. Heat a wide fry pan and add 2 tbsp of oil.
  10. Add onions and fry on high for half a minute.
  11. Add green chilly, garlic, capsicum  and sauté further.
  12. Now add sauces, pepper and salt.
  13. Stir well.
  14. Add fried paneer cubes.
  15. Mix well , smothering the paneer cubes  with the sauce.
  16. Remove from flame, add lemon juice and combine.
  17. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  1. Yummy Chilli Paneer is ready to taste..!

Ghee Rice / Nei Choru / Nei Sadam

Ghee Rice is a Kids favorite  & healthy recipe...!
I tasted this rice , when I visited a friends house and I liked it very much. In this recipe, the flavored rice ( Basmati Rice ) is cooked in clarified butter or ghee, aromatic spices  and with lots of onions and finally seasoned with  golden roasted cashew and raisins.  
This rich dish is simple to cook and made for special occasions like birthdays, weddings or other festive occasions.
Here comes the traditional dish of Indian Cuisine - Ghee Rice recipe..Hope you would like it too..!!!
  • Basmati Rice                             - 2 cups
  • Ghee                                        - ¼ cup
  • Onion thinly sliced                     - 2 cups
  • Cinnamon                                 - 1
  • Cloves                                      - 4
  • Bay leaves                                - 2
  • Cardamom                                - 3
  • Cashew                                    - 5
  • Raisins                                     - 7
  • Ginger garlic paste                    - ½ tbsp
  • Salt for taste
  • Coriander leaves
  1. Wash basmati rice thoroughly and drain the water.
  2. Heat the clarified butter / ghee in a heavy bottomed pan.
  3. Roast cashew and raisins to golden.
  4. Take it aside.
  5. Add cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves and cardamom and sauté for a minute.
  6. Add the onion slices and sauté on high for few seconds.
  7. Then lower the flame and sauté till it turns golden brown and soft.
  8. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté further for 2 mins.
  9. Now add drained Basmati rice and sauté gently.
  10. Transfer this to a pressure cooker and add 3 ½ cups water and salt.
  11. Cook until the rice is done.
  12. Fluff the rice grains with a fork.
  13. Garnish with roasted cashew, raisins and freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  1. Serve hot with Veg or Chicken Kurma.

This spicy egg masala is an absolute delight and a quick dish to prepare. 
In this recipe, the boiled eggs are cooked in a spicy Indian style masala. This serves as a  very tasty and filling side dish with chapattis, pulav, white rice, dosa, paratha and rotis.
Try this easy, tasty, healthy Egg masala recipe today..!!!
  • Eggs                           - 3
  • Oil                                - 2 tbsp
  • Onion                           - 2
  • Green chilly                   - 1
  • Ginger garlic paste        -  ½ tbsp
  • Tomato                         - 2
  • Red chilly pwd              - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric pwd                - ¼ tsp
  • Coriander pwd               - ½ tbsp
  • Garam masala pwd        - ½ tsp
  • Cumin pwd                    - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves
  1. Boil eggs, take off the shell and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a fry pan.
  3. Add onions and sauté till it turns transculent.
  4. Add green chilly and ginger garlic paste.
  5. Sauté for 2 mins.
  6. Add tomatoes and fry till it is done.
  7. Drop the boiled eggs in the pan.
  8. Add red chilly pwd, turmeric pwd, garam masala pwd, coriander pwd, salt and cumin pwd.
  9. Stir well and cover the pan.
  10. Allow to cook in low flame for 8 to 10 mins stirring once in a while
  1. Turn off the flame and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
