Spicy Drumstick Vathakuzhambu

Vathakuzhambu is a spicy traditional South Indian dish. Though Vathakuzhambu is made with dried vegetables like sundakkai, manathakkali, brinjal, kothavarangai (cluster beans) etc…, this tastes ideal with fresh vegetables like drumstick, brinjal, ladies finger, potatoes etc. I tried with onions, tomato, garlic and drumstick to make a tastier version of this kuzhambu. I tasted little bit and it is simply mouth watery…! And it combines excellent with white steamed hot rice and roasted pappad.
