Radish Raita:
Radish Raita is delicious and healthy diet recipe. It is very easy to prepare. This tangy and flavorful radish raita isn’t just tasty, but also has a number of nutritional facts. This is very filling and low in calories, so they make a good afternoon snack and keep you from feeling hungry. Since, they are extremely high in dietary fibre, they’re tend to ease the digestive process. Also, Radish is found to be rich in vitamins like C, K & B6.
Here comes the delightfully refreshing recipe of Radish Raita…Enjoy…:)
Ingredients:
· White radish - 2
· Carrot - 1
· Yoghurt - 1 cup
· Green chillies - 2 or 3
· Oil - 1 tsp
· Mustard seeds - ¼ tsp
· Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
· Coriander leaves - 1 cup
· Salt to taste
Method:
1. Wash, clean and chop radish and carrot to fine pieces.
2. Beat the yoghurd in a bowl.
3. Add the chopped radish and carrot pieces.
4. Add salt and chopped coriander leaves.
5. Cut the chillies in long pieces.
6. Heat oil in a pan.
7. Once the oil is heat, add mustard, cumin seeds and allow to crackle.
8. Add green chillies and take the pan off from heat.
9. Let the contents cool down.
10. Then transfer the contents to raita and mix well.
11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
12. Refrigerate and serve chill.
13. Serve it as a side dish for rice or chaptis n rotis.

The raita is very interesting, I should try with radish, as I always use only cucumber and or carrots...
