Today am posting the most favorite Indian accompaniment Green chutney recipe, as some of my readers mailed me to share the video recipe of it. This is one of the simple and easy to prepare chutney with aromatic fresh herbs like mint & coriander leaves at home. The flavor of the homemade green chutney will be irresistable and tastes more yum than any store bought ones. It is widely used for garnishing almost all types of chaats and makes an excellent dip for pakoras, tandoori chicken, dhoklas, sandwiches and for most of the Indian starter recipes. Ingredients

Sliced mint & coriander leaves - 1 cup

Sliced ginger - 1 tsp

Green chilli - 1 or 2

Cumin pwd - 1/2 tsp

Chat masala pwd - 1/2 tsp

Oil - 1 tsp

Lemon juice - few drops

Yoghurt - 2 tbsp

Salt to taste

Instructions

1.

Wash and slice coriander leaves and mint leaves.

In a blender, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, sliced ginger, green chilli, salt, cumin pwd, chat masala pwd, oil, lemon juice and yoghurt.

3.

Mix well without adding water.

4.

Blend it to smooth paste.

5.

That's it...flavorful vibrant delicious homemade green chutney is ready.

It makes an excellent spread for sandwiches, dip for snacks & tandoori dishes.
