Here comes the restaurant style creamy delicious babycorn masala recipe. This simple & classic recipe can be prepared very easily at home in less time. It makes a great side dish for rotis, naan, biryani, pulao, phulkas or steamed rice. This rice cashew based gravy tastes absolutely delicious with mild spicy flavor along with the crunchiness of babycorn. Today we will learn to prepare babycorn masala at home with this easy video recipe.

Ingredients

Babycorn - 200 g

Oil - 2 tbsp

Capsicum cubed - 1 cup

Onion - 2

Tomato - 2

Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp

Green chilli - 2

Turmeric pwd - 1/4 tsp

Red chilli pwd - 1 tsp

Coriander pwd - 2 tsp

Cumin pwd - 1/2 tsp

Thick cashew paste - 2 tbsp

Dried kasoori methi pwd - 1/2 tsp

Lemon juice - few drops

Salt to taste

Instructions

1.

Wash & slice babycon and capsicum to pieces.

2.

Heat oil in frypan.

3.

Add cubed capsicum and toss for a minute.

4.

Drain and set aside.

5.

Heat oil in frypan.

6.

Add sliced onion and toss till light brown.

7.

Add green chilli, ginger garlic paste and fry for few minutes.

8.

Add mashed tomato, turmeric pwd, red chilli pwd, coriander pwd, cumin pwd and salt.

9.

Fry the masala in low flame.

10.

Add 1 cup of water and allow to boil.

11.

Add sliced babycorn and stir.

12.

Cook covered until the babycorns are cooked tender in the masala.

13.

Add thick cashew paste and dried kasoori methi powder.

14.

Mix well.

15.

Add sauted capsicum and combine.

16.

Squeeze few drops of lemon juice.

17.

Turn off flame and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.

18.
