Chaat,  hmmmm..mouth watering & utterly irresistible..!
Everyone likes to eat chat, there are many varieties of chat, and here is very easy and tasty mouthwatering  peanuts  chat. 
As its exam time for my kids, I have to rake my brains for healthy tasty nutritious recipes so keep them with required energy. This makes a scrumptious, crispy snack – all kids love the tangy taste of this chat, which is loaded with protein, a must nutrient for a growing child.
This great snack can be made in a jiffy and also opt for preparing whenever we feel like munching something hot & spicy. It makes a perfect accompaniment to a relaxed evening cup of  garma  garam  chai  or  coffee..!
Lets start with this lovely mouthwatering chat..!
Ingredients:
  • Raw shelled Peanuts                             - 1 cup
  • Onion                                                   - 1
  • Tomato                                                 - ½
  • Green chilly                                           - 1
  • Carrot grated                                         - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilly pwd                                      - ½ tsp
  • Roasted cumin pwd                               - ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala pwd                                 - ¼ tsp
  • Fresh lemon juice                                  - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves
Method:

  1. Pressure cook the peanuts until they’re soft.
  2. Take care whilst cooking the peanuts, as even a few extra minutes will turn them mushy & overboiled. It  should be cooked crunchy.
  1. Finely chop onion to slices.
  2. Chop tomato and green chilly to small pieces.
  3. Grate the carrots to fine shreds.
  4. Combine together boiled peanuts, onion, tomato, carrots and freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  1. In a mixing bowl, mix together red chilly pwd, cumin pwd, chaat masala pwd and salt.
  2. Sprinkle the above spice pwd all over the peanut mixture and toss well so that they are all mixed up.
  1. Squeeze the lemon juice and toss again.
  1. Lipsmacking peanuts chaat is ready to enjoy..!

Spicy Chicken 65 / Hot & Spicy Chicken

Here is one more  hot  &  spicy  delicious chicken snack. This is almost everyone’s favorite dish who loves Non-veg.   
This deep fried chicken dish is popular in South India and people prefer it as a starter & appetizer or as a quick snack.
With the right use of spices, the same restaurant quality & fingerlicking taste can be acquired at home. Your whole family will enjoy the authentic taste and ask you to make more !
 It goes great with rice & sambar or with chapatti, roti & naan.
Take a look at the easy recipe to prepare the  fiery hot chicken 65..:)
Ingredients:
  • Boneless chicken                      - ½ kg
  • Chilly pwd                                 - 1 ½ tsp
  • Pepper pwd                              - ½ tsp
  • Coriander pwd                           - 1 tsp
  • Cumin pwd                                - ½ tsp
  • Turmeric pwd                            - ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala pwd                    - ½ tsp
  • Corn flour                                 - 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice                              - 1 tbsp
  • Yoghurt                                     - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste                    - 1 tbsp
  • Red food color                         - one pinch
  • Lemon & onion for garnishing
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to deep fry
Method
  1. Wash the boneless chicken and cut into small cubes.
  2. Prepare marinade with all the ingredients, except oil and coriander leaves.
  3. Marinate the chicken for at 3 to 4 hrs in the fridge.
  4. Heat oil in frying pan.
  5. Gently drop the chicken cubes in hot oil.
  6. Deep fry them with stirring.
  7. Fry them in a 2 or 3 batches.
  8. Once the chicken cubes are dark brown and crispy, drain and remove from oil.
  9. Spread the cubes in kitchen tissue.
  10. Place them in serving dish with lemon and  onion slices.
  1. Serve hot with  paratha, naan, roti or with rice & enjoy the  spicy  hot  taste. :)
