Saraswathi Pooja Recipes / Ayudha Pooja Special Recipes:

Happy Saraswathi Pooja :
Saraswati Pooja is an important part of the Navrathri festival & is celebrated on the ninth day..!
It is also known as Basant Panchami or Vasant Panchami.  The Pooja is performed to pay allegiance to the Goddess of Knowledge, Music and Arts. This Pooja gives us sacred knowledge to overcome all the difficulties of life and bestow us peace of mind and success. 
Also, Children place their study books and notes on an altar and worship the Goddess of education to get blessings on this day..!
Ayudha Pooja / Vijayadashami:
Vijayadashami is considered to be the most auspicious day to begin new ventures. It is celebrated on the tenth and final day of Navarathri Festival. It is a Special day for small children, as they will be joined in the school by elders,  to start their education.
Also, all the workers, celebrate this day as Ayudha Pooja.  One of the foremost customs to be followed on this day is to first clean all the tools and implements which makes our living. Then it is smeared with chandal and then kumkum. They’re decorated with flowers and performed Pooja.   
Also the vehicles are washed and decked with plantain leaves, flowers and worshipped, thanking the God. 
After the Pooja, some puffed rice along with jaggery is distributed as Prasadam to everyone..!
Decorations, lights, colors and high spirits are all incomplete without good food, especially the lipsmacking delicacies prepared during these days...
