Papaya Smoothie:  

Today, I am sharing fruity nutritious Papaya Smoothie recipe with you guys. It has a wonderful taste of the tropics and feeling!

Also,  its one of the best smoothie recipes, because it has only three ingredients and its incredibly simple to prepare. In ten minutes flat, we can have a creamy  &  delicious drink.  Its perfect for a quick breakfast or afternoon treat !



Papaya is loaded with health benefits,  some of them are
  1. Very high in protein, rich in enzymes and  provides body with great energy for hours.
  2. It is a rich source of vitamin A & C, potassium and fibre.
  3. Papaya is great for digestive process.
  4. Rich in anti-oxidants, low in calories and high in nutritive value.
  5. Helps in keeping cholesterol level low.
  6. It has anti-inflammatory & anti-cancerous properties.
  7. Helps in controlling premature ageing.
  8. Also helps to strengthen immune system

Ingredients:

  • Papaya peeled & chopped                    - 1 cup
  • Full cream milk                                      - 1/3 cup
  • Honey                                                   - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Ice cubes                                              - 5
Method:
  1. Combine all the ingredients in the blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the smoothie into tall glass & serve immediately.

Missi Roti Recipe / Healthy Dinner Recipes

I  tried   Missi Roti  recipe, and it came out yummy.  This is a very flavorful and healthy breakfast menu of Rajastani Cuisine. Do give a try and enjoy the awesome taste...!
Ingredients:
  • Besan flour / kadalai maavu                   - 1 cup
  • Wheat flour                                           - 1 cup
  • Turmeric pwd                                        - a pinch
  • Red chilly pwd                                      - 1 tsp
  • Cumin pwd                                            - ¼ tsp
  • Butter                                                   - 1 tsp
  • Cooking oil                                           - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
Method:

  1. Take besan flour and wheat flour in a wide bowl.
  1. Add salt, turmeric pwd, cumin pwd, red chilly pwd.
  1. Mix well and sprinkle  water to make a soft dough.
  2. The dough shouldn’t be sticky, so take care while adding water.
  3. Add butter and knead it to smooth dough.
  1. Allow to remain closed for half an hour.
  2. Make into small balls.
  1. Roll out each ball with rolling pin,  to flat rotis using wheat flour for dusting.
  1. Heat a tawa
  2. Place the roti.
  3. Flip and cook to golden on both sides.
  4. Drizzle oil to the sides lightly.
  5. Enjoy the aroma of besan, while cooking the roti.
  6. Serve hot with aloo mutter masala, dhal or any curry of your choice.
  1. Delicious Missi Roti ready to give a taste.

Butter Chicken / Murgh Makhani

Hope you all had a  Joyous  Diwali  with your family n  friends...!
And enjoyed the delicious array of lipsmacking Sweets &  crunchy munchy snacks...!!
Now we would relish yet another popular Indian recipe, that we all love - BUTTER CHICKEN.   It is a favorite special of all non-veg lovers. 
This quick to prepare gravy, can be made hot or mild, as we like it, so it suits most palates.  
In this recipe, the  boneless chicken ( Murgh ) is marinated in spices and cooked in Butter ( Makhan).  Its delicious and juicy taste will make our taste buds go crazy..!
Here is the tasty Butter Chicken recipe, which your whole family will enjoy..:)
Murgh Makhani
Ingredients:
  • Boneless chicken                                 - ½ kg
For Marination:
  • Lemon juice                                          - 1 tbsp
  • Kashmiri chilly pwd                                - 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala                                       - ½ tbsp
  • Salt to taste
For Gravy:
  • Onion                                                   - 2
  • Chopped ginger garlic                           - 1 tbsp
  • Green chilly                                           - 1
  • Kasuri methi (dry fenugreek leaves)        - ½ tsp
  • Cumin pwd                                            - ½ tsp
  • Turmeric pwd                                        - ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala pwd                                - ½ tsp
  • Kashmiri chilly pwd                                - ½ to 1 tsp
  • Tomato mashed                                    - ¼ cup
  • Butter                                                   - 2 tbsp
  • Oil                                                        - 1 tbsp
  • Fresh cream                                          - 3 tbsp
  • Yoghurd                                                 - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste                 
  • Fresh coriander leaves
Method:
Murgh Makhani
  1. Wash and marinate the boneless chicken in the marinade for 1 hour. Marinating it overnight will give best result
  1. Cook the chicken covered on medium flame.
  2. Now heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add finely chopped onions and chopped ginger garlic, green chilly and sauté till golden brown.
  4. Add all the spice pwd, tomato paste, combine and turn off the flame.
  5. Allow to cool.
  6. Grind in a mixer to smooth paste.
  7. Melt butter in the same pan.
  8. Add this paste to hot butter.
  9. Bring to boil .
  10. If needed add  little water and cook it.
  11. The gravy should be perfect, not too thick or too thin.
  12. Now add cooked chicken pieces.
  13. Taste and adjust salt and seasonings.
  14. Simmer for few minutes.
  15. Add fresh cream, and stir. I used Amul’s cream and it gave rich aroma.
  1. Now add yoghurd, give a quick stir and turn off the flame.
  1. Garnish with some cream, chopped coriander leaves.
Murgh Makhani
  1. Enjoy hot with rotis, naan and chapathi...!
