Peanut Rice:

Peanut rice is a delicious South Indian  rice. It is very simple to prepare and tastes excellent with a combination of  roasted pappad or hot potato chips. You can also make it with leftover rice. The rich aroma of this recipe makes your heart go nuts for peanuts :))
To speak about the nutritional facts, peanuts are very good source of Vit E, niacin, folate, protein, manganese and monounsaturated fats. And this dish makes a healthy snack food and an ideal lunch box menu. Give it a Try..!

Modhagam Sweet:

Modhagam sweet is one simple, easy, tasty recipe and very healthy too. This sweet is prepared for the festival Vinayagar Chathurti, and is a favorite for Lord Ganesha. Its made out of rice flour, and the inside stuffing is prepared using thengai poornam and crushed healthy ingredients. As you see, this sweet came out awesome, (to my surprise :) ) and here I am giving the recipe of the mouth watering Mothagam sweet ! Try and enjoy now !

Egg biryani is a very popular Indian recipe and Indian cuisine is famous for its mouth watery flavours, use of natural herbs and spices. 
Tonight, I prepared Egg Biryani in the style called ‘Pakki Biryani’,   here the rice and the egg are cooked separately and then combined in the final step. 
It tasted awesome with the combination of onion raita. You can make it extra spicy by adding more green chilly. 
Here, is the easy recipe for you and enjoy the delicious biryani...:)
·         Eggs                            - 4
·         Raw rice                        - 2 cup
·         Onion big                      - 2
·         Tomato                         - 2
·         Green chilly                   - 2
·         Turmeric pwd                - ¼ tsp
·         Red chilly pwd              - 1 tbsp
·         Ginger garlic paste        - 1 tbsp
·         Ghee                            - 1 tbsp
·         Oil                                - 3 tbsp
·         Garam masala pwd        - ½ tbsp
·         Coriander leaves           - handful
·         Salt to taste
1.     Wash and soak raw rice in water and strain it.
2.     Pressure cook ( make sure not to overcook it) and spread it in a wide bowl.
3.     Add 1 tbsp oil, mix well ( this keeps rice non sticky) and allow to cool.
4.     Break and drop the eggs and beat to blend together.
5.     Heat ghee and oil in a fry pan, add onion, green chilly, chopped tomato and toss it.
6.     Once the tomatoes are cooked, add turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd, ginger garlic paste, garam masala pwd and salt.
7.     Fry well till it turns to thick curry and oil separates.
8.     Add ¼ tb water  and allow to cook for 5 mins.
9.     Add beaten egg, mix and allow to cook in low flame.
10.  Gently stir it and continue cooking for some more mins.
11.  Once the egg masala turns golden and fragrant, add this to the steamed white rice.
12.  Mix gently. Serve hot with fresh chopped coriander sprinklings.

Chhole Masala is a North Indian Curry made with chick peas and aunthentic Indian spices. This can be prepared from fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic and ginger. This curry is hearty and flavorful, yet it is low in fat and cholesterol. Chick peas is an excellent source of carbohydrates, protein and zinc. 100 g of chick peas provide us 164 calories. This wonderful filling spicy curry with rich aroma makes an ideal side dish with Batura, Chapati, Poori or Roti. Try this easy to follow recipe of Chhole Masala today and let me know what you think !
·         Chenna                         - 1 cup
·         Onion                           - 2
·         Tomatoes                     - 3
·         Garlic                            - 6 pods
·         Coriander pwd               - 1 tbsp
·         Red chilly pwd              - 1 tbsp
·         Turmeric pwd                - ½ tsp
·         Chhole masala pwd       - 1  tbsp
·         Green chilly                   - 1 or 2
·         Ginger                          - 1/2 inch
·         Chat masala pwd           - ½ tbsp
·         Fresh lemon juice          - 1 tbsp
·         Coriander leaves           - handful
·         Salt to taste
1.     Soak chenna ( white chick peas ) overnight.
2.     Cook and keep it aside.
3.     Heat oil in a pan.
4.     Fry chopped onion till golden brown.
5.     Add coriander pwd, red chilly pwd and saut√©.
6.     Add turmeric pwd and chhole masala pwd.
7.     Saute for 4 mins in low flame.
8.     Add chopped tomato, green chilli, garlic and grated ginger. Fry well.
9.     Now add cooked chick peas.
10.  Add salt, cook for 5 mins in medium flame.
11.  For flavor, add chat masala pwd.
12.  Remove from flame. Add 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice.
13.  Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and onion rings.
14.  Serve hot with Batura, Chapati, poori
