 Onion Pakoda:

Onion Pakoda is one of the favorite food of Indian Cuisine and has a authentic taste of crispy, crunchy Recipes. This menu has a great addictive taste and delights one n all, irrespective of their age. Hot Coffe with crispy onion Pakoda on a wintery evening is awesome. You can try it too…





Ingredients:
        

·         Bengal gram dal                                  - 2 cup
·         Raw rice                                              - 1 tbsp
·         Oil                                                        - 200 ml
·         Onion                                                  - 2
·         Curry and coriander leaves                - handful
·         Fennel seeds                                       - 1 tsp
·         Asafoetida                                           - ¼ tsp
·         Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Soak Bengal gram dal with 1tbsp raw rice in water for 20 mins.
  2. Strain water from it.
  3. Grind in mixer with fennel seeds, red chilly and salt.
  4. Grind it to thick coarse batter by sprinkling water in it.
  5. To this batter, add chopped onion pieces, curry, coriander leaves, asafoetida and mix well.
  6. See to it, the batter is not very tight or watery, since the secret of crispy pakoda lies in the texture of this batter.



  1. Heat oil in a pan, take small amount of batter and drop in oil by scattering them to pieces.
  2. Deep fry the pakoda by constant stirring in hot oil.
  3. Simmer the flame, and fry it to golden.
  4. Serve hot.



  1. Crispy onion pakoda ready to taste.
